Job summary

Carolina Centers for Sight in South Carolina seeks a team member for its optical department. Some optical experience is required; ABO certification is preferred, but not necessary. Willingness to travel to other offices and potential overtime are expected.

You will assist patients with frames and lenses, order from the lab, file insurance, inspect lab work, track inventory, and process invoices, contributing to a high‑quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Optical experience required.
• ABO certification preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients and customers with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Ordering lenses from the lab.
• Filing insurance claims.
• Final inspection of lab work prior to notifying patient that their order is ready.
• Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
• Processing invoices for payment.
