Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking an Optical Associate in Round Rock, TX. You will stock, display, price, and manage the Optical area, handle claims and returns, and assist members with eyewear decisions, measurements, and repairs.

You will measure pupillary distance, verify prescriptions, and process eyewear orders while providing excellent customer service and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. Training and certification support are provided in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABO certification or eligibility required within 15 months of hire.
• State licensure requirements must be met within the applicable timeline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain merchandise presentation and displays; stock and price merchandise.
• Assist members with eyewear selections, measurements, and repairs.
• Process optical orders and insurance claims; verify prescription details and pupillary distance.
