Sam's Club in WAUKESHA, WI is seeking an Optical Associate to maintain merchandise presentation in the Optical area, assist members with eyewear and contact lenses, and process orders with labs and optometrists.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ABO certification within 15 months, and state licensure/apprenticeship as applicable. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are available.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; ABO exam eligibility within 12 months and ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Willingness to register and maintain NPI number as required by state law.
• State licensure/apprenticeship requirements; optician licensure within 18 months and completion of minimum apprenticeship hours as required by state.

Responsabilidades

• Stock and organize optical displays; sign and price merchandise; manage inventory and returns.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases, repairs, and lens fitting; measure pupillary distance and verify prescriptions.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders; coordinate with labs and OD services; educate members on eyewear usage and care.
