Job summary

Sansbury Eye Center - Lexington is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Practice Manager in day-to-day store operations on the sales floor of the Sansbury Eye Center in Lexington, SC. This role includes supervising staff, ensuring policy adherence, and resolving patient needs while assisting Opticians with sales and troubleshooting.

You will monitor patient flow, help schedule, supervise breaks, participate in hiring, and lead staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO Certification preferred but not required.
• Extensive optical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Resolves customer service issues and refunds as needed.
• Monitors patient flow and ensures on-time performance.
• Supports scheduling with Technicians and lobby checks-in patients.
• Assists in interviewing and selection of new staff.
• Provides training and feedback to employees.
• Organizes and leads staff meetings with the Practice Manager.
• Attends to opening/closing duties and store upkeep.
• Participates in annual inventory.
