National Vision is seeking an Assistant Manager for Eyeglass World to lead daily store operations, mentor a team, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers seeking quality eye care and fashion eyewear.

The role focuses on driving sales, managing staff, and coordinating with doctors to maintain service standards while upholding National Vision's commitment to affordable eyewear for all.

Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to motivate a team.
• Solid understanding of store operations and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for team management.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and drive results.
• Experience recruiting, selecting and retaining staff.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted targets.
• Ensure all store associates deliver highest level of customer service.
• Maintain readiness of same-day service and production boards.
• Communicate with management and report store performance to leadership.
• Foster relationships with doctors associated with the store and act as liaison.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are current.
• Supervise and motivate staff to meet day-to-day objectives.
• Assist in staffing decisions to balance store volume.
• Encourage associates to exceed performance standards.
