Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager in Texas. You will lead store operations, model Visionworks standards, and supervise the team in the absence of the General Manager, driving a friendly, human, and bold patient and customer journey.

You will coach associates, coordinate doctor appointments, and help reach daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals while ensuring superior customer experience and operational excellence across the floor and eyewear services.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience coaching and developing associates preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote profitability and sales targets by holding self and team accountable to daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Model patient/customer journey, supervise and redirect associates on exam lane and sales floor.
• Support GM by coordinating doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs.
• Coach and motivate associates to perform at high standards for a flawless patient experience.
• Use sound judgment to resolve issues in partnership with the General Manager.
• Execute broad operational activities to meet store financial and customer goals.
