Job summary

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) is seeking a Research & Statistics Consultant to support analytical decision making by deploying and managing data resources, predictive modeling, and reporting.

You will analyze traffic crash data, crime patterns, and enforcement trends, produce maps and reports from SQL server databases, and collaborate with IT to maintain data integrity and user liaison.

Qualifications

• Experience applying data analysis and reporting within law enforcement or public safety.
• Ability to develop reports, charts and diagrams from statistical data.
• Experience with GIS mapping and statistical reporting tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analyses to support strategic decisions and operational planning.
• Produce reports on traffic crashes, crime patterns and enforcement trends.
• Develop maps and visualizations using SQL server databases and GIS concepts.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve data issues and maintain data integrity.
