Job summary

Sprout, a global IT hardware disposition leader, seeks an Operations Manager in Garland, TX to lead end-to-end site execution across receiving, processing, testing, and shipping. You will translate the site plan into daily actions, optimize throughput, and drive Lean practices.

You'll develop and coach Supervisors, manage performance against KPIs, and ensure compliance with ISO/R2v3 standards while coordinating with support functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or ITAD.
• Experience leading others: at least 1 year supervising or leading a team.
• Lean, 5S, and Kaizen with quantified results.
• Experience operating within ISO 9001/14001/45001, R2v3, or equivalent and participating in third‑party audits.
• Knowledge of ITAD processes: receiving, audit, data sanitization, testing, refurbishment, harvesting, and recycling.
• Understanding chain-of-custody, serialization, and data security requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and reporting tools (sERP) and Power BI.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• Clear written and verbal communication across operators and site leadership.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred; OSHA 30 and forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily production plan and attainment across receiving, processing, testing, e-commerce prep, and shipping.
• Balance labor daily against demand and backlog; reallocate headcount to protect constraints.
• Run the daily management system with tier meetings, production boards, Andon, and handoffs.
• Drive speed to finished goods and reduce dwell time.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Logistics, E-Commerce, Test Engineering, and Compliance.
• Prepare and present weekly performance reviews with corrective action status.
• Manage controllable cost lines within the site budget.
• Lead Kaizen events and 5S sustainment; partner with Industrial Engineer.
• Own the improvement pipeline and support facility transformation projects.
