Job summary

Sprout, a global IT hardware retirement provider, is seeking an Industrial Engineer to own standard work, drive automation, and build capacity models for the Texas facility. You will spend time on the floor mapping value streams, timing processes, and validating work against documented standards while leveraging Sprout's ERP, Power BI, and SQL to quantify bottlenecks and prove improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or reverse-logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to write standard work and lead cross-functional projects from an indirect position of authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain standard work across receiving, testing, refurbishment, teardown, and shipping to drive consistency and training effectiveness.
• Lead automation initiatives and optimize ERP workflows to speed execution and capture metrics.
• Analyze operational data (Power BI/SQL/Excel) to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales/Operations to ensure customer requirements are captured and implemented; drive change management and documentation controls.
• Support rollout of improvements across Sprout facilities and ensure lasting gains through ownership and ongoing validation.
