Job summary

California Food Banks is seeking an experienced Operations & Logistics Manager to lead the Farm to Family (F2F) program and the F2F Procurement team in Oakland. The role focuses on delivering exceptional donor, grower, and food bank service while improving process efficiency and ERP data accuracy.

You will monitor performance metrics, manage routing and PO processes, and coach staff to uphold high standards of accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of logistics and operations support in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiar with NetSuite.
• Ability to multi-task in high-volume processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Farm to Family program operations and procurement.
• Coordinate with donors, growers, and food banks to ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor PO status, ERP data accuracy, and route compliance.
• Lead and coach Procurement Team; provide quarterly performance feedback.
• Travel up to 10% with occasional overnight for conferences.
