Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry seeks a Food Logistics and Inventory Lead to oversee procurement, tracking, storage and distribution of all food and personal care items. You will lead staff and volunteers and coordinate with other functions to support pantry operations.

You will ensure stock levels meet client needs, manage inventories for dietary requirements, supervise teams, collaborate with vendors, and uphold safety standards and budgeting for ongoing operations.

Qualifikationen

• Associates Degree and/or equivalent relevant experience in leadership, analytics, logistics, inventory management or distribution processes.

Aufgaben

• Ensure optimum stock of food and personal care items is available for clients from a variety of sources at all times.
• Manage optimum inventory levels for all dietary needs served and methods of distribution offered.
• Provide direction, oversight, training, and support to employees and groups of volunteers working in food operations.
• Work with various vendors and resources to support a smooth and flexible operational system.
• Ensure all food supplied by the pantry meets food safety storage and delivery protocols.
• Develop budget and monitor financial requirements to support ongoing food operations.
