Moe’s Southwest Grill in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily ops, ensure quality food and guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will train staff, manage schedules, and uphold safety and brand standards while driving profitability.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of restaurant management experience, ServSafe certification, and strong leadership, communication, and multitasking abilities to lead a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent experience in restaurant operations.
• Must be ServSafe certified.

Responsibilities

• Interview team members for restaurant operations.
• Train staff for prep, cooking, packaging, and serving food.
• Ensure food meets operational, food safety and brand standards.
• Manage food flow, ordering, receiving, storing and servicing.
• Schedule deployment and staffing.
• Coach staff on operational standards and take corrective action.
• Maximize profitability by controlling cost of sales, labor, payroll, and other costs.
• Complete daily, weekly and periodic financial reports on time.
• Maintain a fun, fast-paced atmosphere for team and guests.
• Enforce sanitary practices and safety; ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain professional image, punctuality, and appearance.
