Job summary

AVRL is hiring an early-career Business Operations Associate to learn the business from the ground up. You will own day-to-day operations including contracts, renewals, invoicing, and financial oversight, with a path to lead an associate and expand into strategy and compliance.

You'll build SOPs, manage documents, and support audits while collaborating with senior leaders on operations and tech strategy.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in business operations, finance, or a related generalist role at a small company.
• Comfortable reading financial statements and assembling a simple P&L.
• Experience writing process documentation or SOPs used by others.
• Strong written and spoken communication; coachable with a bias to action.

Responsibilities

• Manage NDAs and contract redlines with legal to refine terms and flag risks.
• Create and send SaaS contracts; interpret master agreements and statements of work.
• Contact customers ahead of renewals; keep accounts in-term and on-time payments.
• Build and standardize SOPs in a single company library; test flows.
• Manage, archive documents, monitor ticketing; perform internal audits and support external auditor.
• Oversee invoicing; produce quarterly P&L and leadership performance summaries; handle tax filings.
