Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in Pensacola, FL seeks a Business Unit Operations Excellence Manager to support two RDOs, coach District Managers, and build succession. This role blends program implementation, budget management, and P&L reporting with frontline store engagement.

The role requires 2–3 days in stores weekly, strong retail operations knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; substitutions allowed with experience.
• Three to five years of retail multi-site leadership experience; minimum two years in management.
• Ability to present in meetings and conduct training.
• Ability to mentor District Managers and support RDOs.
• Ability to supervise and manage employees on rollout teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supports RDOs in coaching, training and development of DMs.
• Reviews reporting and KPI performance with RDOs and DMs to close gaps.
• Leads operations programs and ensures BU compliance.
• Leads implementation and training of new operations programs.
• Supports RDOs and DMs for NTIs, R&Rs, and acquisitions integration.
• Acts as BU communications gatekeeper.
• Reviews shrink results and actions on shrink plans with DMs.
• Ensures Quorso/EasyOps missions are actioned and engagement maintained.
• Reviews audits results and coaches store improvements.
• Store supplies & waste management reporting oversight and budgeting.
• Provides analysis of store P&Ls.
• Other admin, reporting, CK360 updates.
• Store visits 2–3 days/week.
