Circle K Stores Inc. seeks an experienced retail leader to drive store operations, promotions, and budget discipline. You will coach store managers, oversee recruitment, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations to sustain profitability and customer service excellence.

The role emphasizes managing costs, executing monthly promotions, and collaborating with marketing and vendors to maintain product availability and stock integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience or more preferred; including minimum 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
• Leadership ability, good communication skills, self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.

Responsibilities

• Provide information to store management by recapping promotional activity, reporting opportunities, results, trends and competitive information.
• Manage controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, repair and maintenance costs.
• Collaborate with Marketing to implement promotions and new product introductions.
• Provide feedback to category managers regarding stock issues.
• Partner with vendors to ensure product availability.
• Ensure timely execution of monthly promotions.
• Monitor vendor performance and professionalism.
• Manage cash and merchandise variation, salaries, and other controllable expenses on the P&L.
• Enforce policies, safety practices, and training; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Forecast requirements and prepare annual budget; analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and direction to store managers; assist in recruiting, orientation, and employee development.
