Job summary

Circle K in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and coach store staff to deliver exceptional service across all shifts.

The role requires managing promotions, budgeting, inventory, and safety programs while partnering with Marketing and recruiting and developing talent to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; other combinations may substitute.
• 3-5 years of retail business experience, including minimum of 2 years of management responsibility.
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Ability to supervise and train Store Managers in use of store equipment, tools and materials.
• A current valid driver's license is required to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides information to store management by recapping promotional activity and reporting opportunities, results, trends and competition.
• Manages controllable costs by educating managers on procedures for controlling merchandise variation, salaries, overtime, cash, repair and maintenance costs.
• Collaborates with Marketing to ensure promotions and new product introductions are fully implemented.
• Provides budgeting and planning support, assists with recruitment and training, and drives performance against targets.
• Ensures store operations are profitable by managing cash and merchandise variation and other controllable expense lines.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety regulations and government rules; handles discipline when needed.
• Leads and coaches store managers; monitors performance and develops action plans for issue resolution.
• Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and professional networks.
