Job summary

Avery Dennison’s North America Operations Early Career Program (OECP) has a 24-month training curriculum blending hands-on learning with classroom and virtual training. As an Operations Early Career Program Associate, you will join a flexible program focused on developing talent for our world-class organization.

This on-site role spans dynamic manufacturing environments and distribution centers, with leadership in Lean/Six Sigma, process improvements, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with December graduates (January start) or May graduates (June start).
• Previous internship/co‑op experience in manufacturing or related work.
• Leadership through student organizations or clubs.
• Demonstrated volunteer engagement or similar activities.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Must be willing to relocate to any of our sites during the program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct problem solving using Lean and Six Sigma approaches.
• Initiate and support equipment/process upgrades to reduce scrap and boost productivity and quality.
• Develop and maintain control systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Provide on‑machine expertise to operators to meet delivery and performance targets.
• Develop project timelines, assign responsibilities and drive execution.
