You’ll rotate through dynamic manufacturing environments and distribution centers while applying Lean and Six Sigma methods to improve quality, throughput, and efficiency.
Strong leadership from student activities and volunteer work is valued. Relocation to one of several sites is required during the program, with a start around December/May

About the role:
Avery Dennison’s North America Operations Early Career Program (OECP) has a single business focus to build talent for our world class organization. With a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning and classroom and virtual training, the OECP serves as the talent pipeline for operations roles throughout the organization. In this role as an Operations Early Career Program Associate, you will join a flexible program passionate about the development needs of our associates alongside the needs of the business, supported by a 24‑month training curriculum rooted in our Avery Dennison values.
Key Responsibilities:
We are considering individuals who are passionate about working in any of the following states post graduation:
You will be notified of your site assignment approx 60 days prior to your start date
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) with a graduation timeline for December Graduates (January start date) or May Graduates (June start date).
Previous internship/co-op experience required or relevant work experience in manufacturing.
Leadership Experience via student organizations, such as Engineers without Borders, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Society of Chemical Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, etc.
Demonstrated engagement in volunteerism or similar activities.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Must be willing to relocate to any of our sites while on our early career program.
The salary for this position is $86,000.
