With a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning and classroom and virtual training, the SCECP serves as the talent pipeline for leadership roles throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in logistics, materials management, supply chain management, industrial systems engineering, or related field.
• Preferred: internship/co-op or relevant work experience in manufacturing.
• Involvement in student organizations such as SCM Association, SWE, NSBE, SHPE, etc.
• Volunteerism or related activities.

Responsibilities

• Apply continuous improvement methodologies to advance performance and achieve business objectives (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean).
• Provide effective linkages to sales, customer service, purchasing, marketing, supply chain and operations.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Monitor service and inventory performance, anticipate and respond to problems effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley requirements relevant to materials processes.
