The J.M. Smucker Company is offering an Operations Engineering Intern position designed for engineering students to work alongside technicians and salaried staff on the plant floor.

You will collect data, learn the manufacturing process, and drive process improvement projects from inception to verification at Smucker facilities. As a summer internship, you will participate in hands-on projects, receive mentorship, and contribute to initiatives across snacks, coffee, and pet food categories.

Formación

• Pursuing an engineering degree with relevant coursework.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
• Comfort working in both office and plant environments and following safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Work with technicians to identify process improvements and learn manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate activities of contractors, hourly technicians, and resources.
• Prepare standard reports and document results to communicate findings.
• Manage projects from scope development through verification and implementation.
• Collect and analyze data to drive effective initiatives on the plant floor.
