Qualifications

• Experience in ophthalmology settings preferred.
• Familiar with ophthalmic testing and patient exams.
• Ability to document patient data accurately in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists during patient exams and procedures.
• Perform preliminary eye testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and refractometry.
• Obtain and document detailed patient histories.
• Administer eye drops and prepare patients for testing.
• Operate ophthalmic equipment (slit lamps, OCT, visual field analyzers).
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and medications.
• Maintain accurate EMR records.
