SharpeVision MODERN LASIK & LENS in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Surgical Counselor to guide patients through treatment options and surgery preparation. You will discuss premium lens options, explain insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs, and liaise between patients and providers before and after procedures.

The role requires strong communication, sales ability, and clerical skills, with a focus on excellent patient satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• At least one year of ophthalmic/optometric/medical technician experience preferred.
• Experience counseling on premium lens offerings is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Counsel patients on treatment options based on provider recommendations.
• Discuss premium lens options clearly and concisely.
• Present insurance information and explain out-of-pocket costs for surgery.
• Coordinate payments and scheduling with patients.
• Assist with front office overflow.
