Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery and pre-surgery education; coordinate with facilities.
• Schedule and coordinate pre-op appointments with patients/caregivers.
• Check insurance benefits, prepare cost summaries, counsel patients on finances.
• Counsel patients on Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center charges.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
