Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery, pre-surgery education, and communicate with facilities.
• Schedule and coordinate pre-op appointments with patient and caregiver.
• Check patient charts for insurance benefits, prepare a cost summary and counsel patients regarding finances.
• Counsel patients for Physician Fee and Eye Surgery Center.
• Follow up on and collect surgery payments.
• Other duties as assigned.
