Job summary

Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minnetonka is hiring a full-time Medical Scribe to support ophthalmology and optometry exams by documenting in the EHR. The role involves scheduling, medication grids, and assisting with procedures, with travel to Woodbury, Bloomington and Blaine as needed.

Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $21.00 per hour, with daytime hours Monday–Friday and one Saturday morning per month, in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Great experience for future medical students.
• Keyboarding and computer knowledge.
• Experience with EHR systems; ophthalmology/optometry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document patient exams in EHR; scribe all elements of the exam.
• Provide patient and family counseling/education as needed.
• Schedule return appointments and referrals.
• Set up exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and readiness.
