Job summary

Retina Associates of Kentucky is seeking a Patient Coordinator to be the first contact for patients, ensuring a warm, professional check-in/out experience and smooth administrative workflows. This full-time role supports ophthalmology patients across multiple locations, with occasional travel to satellite offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Greet patients promptly with a smile and thank them when they leave.
• Answer phones (external and internal) and ensure courteous service at all times.
• Maintain patient flow in the office and protect Doctor’s time and schedule.
• Collect payments for common visits and know standard fees.
• Close each day with reconciliations and cash drawer counting.
• Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by the manager.
