Job summary

Dompé is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in ophthalmology to serve as a scientific and clinical expert. You will engage external experts with fair-balanced, evidence-based discussions, support pre-launch readiness, and help inform Medical Affairs strategy through clinical data synthesis and congress participation.

The role requires advanced scientific credentials and 2–3 years in Medical Affairs or related clinical roles, with strong communication and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD/PhD/MD/OD or equivalent).
• 2–3 years in Medical Affairs or related clinical/scientific role; ophthalmology preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical research and evidence-based medicine.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate science clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fair-balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange with ophthalmologists, optometrists and health care professionals.
• Identify, profile, and engage external experts based on clinical expertise and relevance.
• Deliver and discuss approved scientific materials, clinical data and disease state information per PhRMA Code.
• Handle unsolicited off-label questions through approved medical information processes.
• Accurately and timely enter interactions and data into CRM systems.
• Collect ophthalmic insights and report to inform Medical Affairs strategy.
• Attend and support congress activities, including debriefs and data summaries.
• Support pre-launch readiness and pipeline activities with disease state expertise.
