Job summary

Dompé is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in ophthalmology to engage external experts with fair-balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange, aligning with PhRMA codes and internal policies. The MSL will support pre-launch readiness, disease state expertise, and clinical trial awareness while collaborating with field teams.

The role requires a PharmD/PhD/MD/OD or equivalent, 2–3 years in Medical Affairs (ophthalmology preferred), strong communication, and up to 60% travel, including

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in Medical Affairs; ophthalmology preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical research and evidence-based medicine.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60%, including internationally.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fair-balanced, evidence-based scientific exchange with ophthalmologists, optometrists and health care professionals.
• Identify, profile and engage external experts based on clinical expertise.
• Deliver and discuss approved scientific materials and data per PhRMA Code.
• Handle unsolicited off-label questions through approved medical information processes.
• Enter interactions and data into CRM systems.
