Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas/Plano is seeking an Ophthalmology Clinic Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in a pediatric ophthalmology setting. This on-site, full-time role supports two locations with shared shifts.

You will use the nursing process, document in EPIC, educate families, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans that promote safety and quality. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Texas RN license, BLS, and 1 year of pediatric

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• At least 1 year RN experience; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an RN in pediatric ophthalmology.
• Document all encounters in EPIC.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and adherence to standards.
