Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for Hematology/Oncology. Provides direct nursing care, collaborates with physicians and care teams, and uses the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care. Maintains documentation in EPIC and upholds PHI protections.

Requires BSN, Texas RN license, and basic certifications (BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable). On-site, day shift in a fast-paced pediatric setting with a focus on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of job-related experience is required upon hire.
• BSN in Nursing is essential.
• Current Texas RN license is required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate plan of care with the healthcare team to promote patient well-being.
• Document all patient encounters accurately in EPIC.
• Ensure PHI protection and infection prevention practices.
• Deliver patient-centered care with teamwork and sound clinical judgment.
