Job summary

Children's Health is seeking a Hematology Oncology Outpatient Nurse in Dallas, TX. This on-site role supports developmentally appropriate nursing care for pediatric patients and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive care plans.

The RN will perform nursing functions, use clinical judgment, and ensure documentation in EPIC while upholding PHI protection and infection prevention standards. A BSN and Texas RN license are required.

Qualifications

• BSN required and TX RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PACES/PALS certifications as department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate and coordinate patient care using nursing process to promote comfort.
• Ensure safety, accuracy and patient rights in all care activities.
• Coordinate plan of care with patient care team and physicians.
