Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a National Leader of the Ophthalmology Account Management Team to guide a field organization serving Retina practices and large networks. You will report to US Franchise Leader of Ophthalmology and drive cross-functional engagement across SAMs, BEMs, Field Sales, Field Reimbursement and Medical.

You will set strategic direction, coach a high-performing team, and ensure compliant, customer-centric execution in a rapidly evolving ophthalmology market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive pharmaceutical or biotech leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage large field teams and drive strategic account plans.
• Travel up to 50%.
