Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Bachelor's/associate degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform testing as requested by the ordering doctor—Visual Fields, OCTs, Pachymetry, Fundus Photos, External Photos, etc.
• Obtain eyeglass prescriptions via lensometer
• Communicate physician instructions to patients accurately and document accordingly
• Assist the physician with pharmacy calls and patient calls
• Ensure scheduling template is followed and testing rooms are properly stocked
• Complete tech station duties daily
• Process e-scripts as requested
• Maintain professional development and contribute to customer service improvements
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA/OSHA
