US Eye is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join Center For Sight, a leading ophthalmology/optometry practice. This role offers training for motivated individuals and the chance to build a career in ophthalmology within a dynamic, patient-focused team environment.

The position involves patient testing, history taking, scribing, and various EMR-related tasks, with travel between University Park, Sarasota, Venice and Siesta key locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional environment with a strong customer service focus.
• Previous experience in the medical field (preferred).
• High school or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient workups and ophthalmic testing as part of eye care.
• Histories, scribing, visual acuity, tonometry, and related tests.
• Maintains EMR documentation and clerical duties as needed.
• Supports travel between locations and teamwork within the practice.
