Florida Eye Specialists in the Jacksonville area is seeking an Ophthalmic Tester to conduct initial eye tests and prepare patients for exams using OCT, photography, and visual field testing. The role emphasizes accuracy, charting results, and coordinating with doctors to ensure smooth patient flow.

The position requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy ophthalmology practice.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial testing using ophthalmic equipment (OCT, photography, visual fields, fundus photography).
• Upload imaging and testing results to patients' charts.
• Scan and file documents and prior authorizations.
• Verify letters and relay information to physicians when needed.
• Coordinate with labs when scribe unavailable; manage recalls and downtime.
• Interact with patients respectfully and professionally.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
