Job summary

Refocus Eye Health in Danbury, CT is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology team. You will gather patient information, perform preliminary testing, and support surgeons during minor procedures, helping to deliver high-quality eye care.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and excellent communication. A High School Diploma is required; COA certification is a plus. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

  • Assist ophthalmologists during minor surgeries and laser procedures.
  • Streamline patient flow and manage clinic and imaging room coordination.

Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you're an Ophthalmic Technician passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!

$1,000 sign on bonus

Your Impact:
  • Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
  • Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
  • Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
  • Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
  • Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)
  • Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
