Outlook Eyecare in Monroe Township, NJ (part of Prism Vision Group) is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician for an onsite role. You will perform measurements and tests to support diagnosis and treatment, document in the EMR, and assist physicians during exams. The position requires attention to detail and patient service.

Occasional travel to other Prism Vision locations is required. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $35.27 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certificates and Licenses: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.
• Experience: 4-6 years ophthalmic assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ocular/systemic history and record visual acuity.
• Review charts for completeness and perform required tests.
• Act as scribe and enter data into EMR.
• Perform lensometry, automated refractometry, slit lamp exams, tonometry, and fields.
• Administer diagnostic tests: OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry.
• Assist with in-office procedures and instructor training.
