ReFocus Eye Health in New Jersey is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology team. You will work closely with physicians to gather patient information, perform tests, and support procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Gather comprehensive patient information with ophthalmologists.

  • Perform diagnostics like OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
  • Assist in minor surgeries and laser procedures.
  • Manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms.
  • Administer eye drops.
  • Support administrative tasks for efficient workflow.

Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Technician!

Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8A-5P and Tuesdays 8A-5P or 1P to 8P. Minimum 2 Saturdays a month 8A to Noon.

Up to 40 Hours per week

Your Impact:
  • Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
  • Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
  • Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
  • Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
  • Administer eye drops
  • Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
