Job summary

ReFocus Eye Health in the United States is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology team. You will collect patient information, perform preliminary testing, and assist during minor procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates have proven ophthalmic technician experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians and imaging staff. Some travel between sites may be required.

Join Our Growing Ophthalmology Team as an Ophthalmic Technician!

Hours of Practice are Mon-Fri 7:30a-5p. Up to 29 hours per week. We need 3 days a week for this role.

Likely travel to Hatboro and Collegeville

Your Impact:

• Elevate patient care: Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
• Master ophthalmic testing: Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
• Perform advanced diagnostics: Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
• Assist in surgical procedures: Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
• Streamline patient flow: Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
• Administer eye drops: (Certification Required)
• Contribute to clinic efficiency: Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
