Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician at Long Island Ophthalmology & Eye Surgery located in Far Rockaway, NY. The Ophthalmic Technician will be responsible for daily tasks related to pre-testing, fundus photography, dilations, visual fields, and pre-surgical coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field, Spanish and/or Russian language skills is a plus
• Knowledge of basic ophthalmic testing instruments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) is welcome, but not necessary
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
