Job summary

ZEISS Meditec Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support for VERACITY and cataract-related ZEISS products. You will train surgeons and teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with VERACITY development staff to resolve problems.

You will also help improve service documentation, review performance trends, and mentor junior support reps to strengthen the department's capabilities and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years as a Technical Support Engineer or similar tech role.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; knowledge of basic electronics, mechanics, optics, PCs, and networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, troubleshoot and educate surgeons andスタッフ about VERACITY and cataract products.
• Respond to complex technical questions from Field Service Engineers, Affiliates and Distributors.
• Communicate performance trends and provide feedback to other departments monthly.
• Mentor Technical Support Representatives and collaborate with product/quality teams.
