Job summary

ZEISS Group in the United States seeks a Technical Support Engineer to train, troubleshoot and educate surgeons and teams about VERACITY and cataract care ZEISS products.

You will respond to complex inquiries from field service engineers, affiliates, distributors, sales, and customers by phone, fax, email, and occasionally on-site, while contributing insights to service documentation and maintaining technical expertise.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Engineering or Sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of four years as a Technical Support Engineer or equivalent
Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
Experience with electronics, mechanics, optics, PCs and networking

Responsibilities

Train, troubleshoot and educate surgeons and medical staff about VERACITY products.
Respond to complex technical questions from field service engineers and distributors.
Maintain and improve technical expertise on ZEISS products.
Mentor Technical Support Representatives and collaborate cross-functionally.
