Sight360 in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to collect ocular histories, record visual acuities and IOP, and assist with external examinations and dry-eye testing. Travel between clinic locations may be required based on operational needs.

The role includes documenting results, supporting advanced imaging, and educating patients on post-operative care and lens use under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• One year of ophthalmology experience is required.
• Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Collect and document patient medical history and diagnostic results.
• Perform visual acuity testing, refractions, tonometry, pupil evaluation, and visual fields.
• Conduct advanced diagnostic imaging and testing relevant to ocular care.
• Educate patients on post-operative care, medications, and exam expectations.
• Assist with contact lens fittings, in-office procedures, lasers, and minor procedures.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness, sterilization, and overall clinic sanitation.
• Provide clinical support under physician supervision.
