Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking an Ophthalmic Tech to support diagnostic and treatment procedures for ophthalmic diseases. The Technician/Technologist will coordinate patient care with the Eye Center Manager and manage assigned clinics, assisting Eye Center staff and ophthalmology residents.

Qualifications include ophthalmic technologist certification/licensure, BLS, and RQI certified ophthalmic technician (COT). At least 1 year of ophthalmic experience is required.

Formación

• Ophthalmic technologist certification/licensure required.
• BLS certification required; AHA recognized.
• RQI Certification as COT preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic and treatment procedures for ophthalmic disease.
• Coordinate patient care with Eye Center Manager to meet expectations.
• Manage clinics as assigned and assist Eye Center staff.
• Support ophthalmology residents during procedures and rounds.
