Job summary
Sentara Healthcare Inc. seeks a Flexi/PRN Ophthalmic Tech to support diagnostic and treatment procedures for ophthalmic diseases at the Eye Center. You will coordinate patient care with the Eye Center staff, assist residents, and manage clinics as assigned.
Requirements include trade school graduation as Ophthalmic Technologist, BLS (AHA RQI) and COT certification, with at least 1 year ophthalmic experience. This is a flexible, PRN opportunity based in Norfolk, VA.
Qualifications
- Trade school graduate in ophthalmic technology.
- BLS certification by American Heart Association (AHA) RQI.
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification by IJCAHPO.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care with the Eye Center team.
- Assist in managing assigned ophthalmology clinics.
