Job summary

Northwest Eyes is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician Trainer to lead structured training programs, onboarding, and mentorship for technicians in Seattle. The role blends clinical excellence with education, process improvement, and engagement across teams.

You will guide professional growth, track progress, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, MIPS, and internal policies while supporting research coordination and study documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• COA or COT certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years ophthalmic technician experience, including training or supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance or clinical research coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured training programs for technicians and onboarding within 90 days.
• Deliver advanced training modules and coaching for skill mastery.
• Ensure HIPAA, MIPS, and internal policy compliance.
• Track training progress and report outcomes to leadership.
• Coordinate clinical research activities and assist with studies.
