Job summary

Northwest Eyes in Seattle is seeking a Patient Educator-Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will educate patients on premium vision correction options and guide informed decisions before consulting with the physician.

You will document ocular examinations, support pre- and post-visit care, and assist Ophthalmologists with clinical functions including testing and in-office procedures. We provide full training for the right candidate and a collaborative, patient-centered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an ophthalmic practice.

Responsibilities

• Explain premium vision correction services and options to patients.
• Document physician exam findings and treatment plans accurately.
• Assist ophthalmologists with clinical procedures and patient workups.
• Educate patients on post-visit care and treatment plans.
