Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates, P.C. is seeking a Surgical Coordinator to manage scheduling and coordination of ophthalmic procedures at the ambulatory surgery center and local hospitals.

Responsabilités

• Meet one-on-one with patients to educate about upcoming procedures and provide reassurance.
• Schedule pre-operative visits, surgeries, and post-operative visits in the office.
• Maintain and update surgery schedules using paper and Practice Management software.
• Respond to pre- and post-operative inquiries regarding medications and process.
• Consult with physicians to refine schedules and processes.
• Optimize operating room utilization and resources.
• Communicate dates and instructions clearly to patients.
