Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Edmonds, WA is seeking an Ophthalmic Scribe to support ophthalmologists during patient visits, documenting encounters and entering data into the electronic health record system. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and patient privacy in a fast-paced clinic.

You will prepare exam rooms, review records for inconsistencies, and assist with coding and billing basics while ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality documentation.

Formación

• Completion of a medical scribe training program preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with ophthalmology or medical scribe roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Document patient encounters in real-time in electronic health records (EHR) or designated systems.
• Transcribe medical history, chief complaints, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists/optometrists to transcribe and enter information into patient records.
