Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a dynamic field-based sales professional to drive ophthalmology product adoption within a defined territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and deliver education-focused messages to healthcare professionals, supported by robust clinical data and safety information.

You will develop territory plans, build relationships with HCPs, and equip them with tools to discuss diagnosis and treatment gaps with patients.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent are preferred.
Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care.
Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
Business planning and execution.
Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations with patients.
Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and assist in diagnosis-related conversations.
Meet call activity, adherence, and financial targets for the territory.
